Licensing and CPD Reimbursement Policy

1. Licensing Cost Coverage

For Existing Staff

• InvestorKit covers license renewal costs for all current team members.

For New Team Members (Joining Without a License)

• If a new hire does not currently hold a real estate licence, the cost of obtaining one is their responsibility.

• This applies regardless of the state they are located in or joining from.

Staff Holding Multiple Licences

• InvestorKit will cover the renewal/upgrading costs for multiple licences if the team member is already licensed in more than one state.

• However, we do not cover the cost of obtaining a first-time licence in a new state unless it is required by the business.

2. State-Based Licensing Scenarios

New Licence in a New State (Staff Initiated)

• If a staff member decides to obtain a new state licence on their own (not prompted by business need), this is not covered by InvestorKit.

New Licence Required by the Business

• If InvestorKit requests that a staff member operate in a different state or region (e.g. due to a cluster move), we will cover the cost of obtaining the new licence via mutual recognition.

• Reimbursement Process (see section 3) applies.

3. Reimbursement Process for Licences and CPD

Staff Responsibilities

• If staff pays upfront for their licence renewal or CPD.

• They are required to submit to Ops Manager:
• Proof of payment
• Copy of the renewed licence or certificate of completion (for CPD)

Ops Responsibilities

• Review submitted documentation and validate.

• An out-of-cycle reimbursement payment will be processed once all documents are confirmed.

4. Record Keeping & Financial Tracking

Receipt Storage

• All receipts and documentation must be saved and stored.

• Ops will maintain a License & CPD Register for tracking (located in drive.google.com)

Fin Ops Oversight

• Operations team to maintain visibility over:
• Total annual cost of licences and CPD
• Average licence/CPD cost per PAA

5. CPD Reimbursement

• Costs for mandatory CPD are also reimbursed using the same process outlined in section 3.
