Learn about InvestorKit's 11-step client journey, guiding Australians from initial consultation to successful property investment and portfolio management.


At InvestorKit, our mission is simple: help everyday Australians invest with confidence, outperform the market, and build high-performing property portfolios. To deliver on this, we’ve built a specialised agency model with four dedicated divisions: Strategy, Research, Acquisitions, and Client Success.

Here’s how the client journey unfolds:


Step 1: Discovery Call

  • The journey starts when a prospect books a 15-minute discovery call with one of our Property Consultants.
  • This call helps us understand where they’re at in their property journey and whether InvestorKit is the right fit for their goals.

Step 2: Strategy Consultation

  • If there’s alignment, we book them in with a Senior Property Consultant for a deeper dive.
  • This session includes a full overview of our service, how we work, and a discussion about partnering together.
  • If both parties agree to move forward, the paperwork is completed to officially kick off the partnership.

Step 3: Onboarding & Access

  • Clients are onboarded to their personalised client portal, gaining access to:
    • Exclusive market research
    • Educational videos
    • Tools to help interpret our region and property reports

Step 4: Client Success Allocation

  • A dedicated Client Success Manager is assigned to ensure smooth communication and milestone management throughout the process.

Step 5: Portfolio Mapping

  • The client is paired with their Property Strategist.
  • Together, they analyse the client’s financial position, define their goals, and build a custom property strategy designed for long-term portfolio growth.

Step 6: Property Brief Creation

  • The strategist prepares a custom property brief, outlining the ideal purchase criteria for the client’s next investment.

Step 7: Acquisitions Search

  • The brief is handed to our Acquisitions team who begin sourcing properties through agent networks, on and off-market channels.
  • Every property is assessed against our 21-point due diligence checklist—95% of properties don’t make the cut.

Step 8: Property Presentation

  • If a property passes due diligence, we compile:
    • Photos and videos
    • Research reports
    • Risk assessments and cash flow models
  • We then walk the client through the opportunity in a detailed property presentation.

Step 9: Negotiation & Contract

  • If the client proceeds, our Acquisition Analyst negotiates on their behalf.
  • If we secure the property within budget, we support contract preparation, building and pest inspections, and final approvals.

Step 10: Purchase & Property Management

  • Once the property goes unconditional, we:
    • Introduce a trusted local Property Manager
    • Assist with the rental campaign
    • Liaise with lawyers and lenders to manage the settlement process

Step 11: Post-Purchase & Ongoing Strategy

  • Once tenanted, we reconnect the client with their strategist to:
    • Review performance
    • Plan the next move
    • Continue building toward financial freedom
