1Password is a secure password manager used by the leadership team at InvestorKit to manage and share credentials across systems safely. It stores login details, secure notes, and sensitive access information in a protected, encrypted vault - ensuring that our data is secure and accessible only to those who need it.
This article provides an overview of 1Password usage at InvestorKit.
Currently, 1Password is used by leaders only, but a rollout to the wider team is planned before the end of this financial year. Further announcements and onboarding instructions will be provided closer to the launch.
What We Use 1Password For
Function | Description |
Password Management | Store strong, unique passwords for systems, platforms, and tools |
Secure Sharing | Share credentials with authorised users without revealing the actual password |
Team Vaults | Organise credentials by function, platform, or team |
Role-Based Access | Control who can see or manage specific credentials |
Two-Factor Auth Support | Store backup codes or setup info for multi-factor login systems |
1Password allows InvestorKit to scale securely — giving leaders and teams access to the tools they need without compromising sensitive information.
