Having the right background helps maintain a polished, consistent presence - especially when representing InvestorKit in external meetings. Follow the steps below to access and apply our branded Google Meet backgrounds.
Step 1: Access the Background Library
InvestorKit approved backgrounds are stored in our shared Google Drive.
Access them here:
Tip: Download your preferred background(s) to your local computer so they’re easy to access when needed.
Step 2: Add the Background in Google Meet
You can upload and use the background before or during a Google Meet session.
Option A: Before the Meeting Starts
- Open the Google Meet link.
- On the preview screen, click the "Apply visual effects" icon (the sparkle wand in the bottom right).
- Under Backgrounds, click “+ Upload”.
- Select the downloaded background from your computer.
- Your background will be applied immediately.
Option B: During the Meeting
- In the meeting, click the three-dot menu in the bottom right.
- Select "Apply visual effects".
- Click “+ Upload” and choose your saved background.
- It will be applied instantly to your video.
Uploaded backgrounds are saved for future use — no need to re-upload unless you're switching to a new design.
Guidelines for Usage
- Always use an InvestorKit background when in external meetings with clients, partners, or media.
- Ensure your lighting is sufficient so your face is clearly visible against the background.
- Avoid using virtual backgrounds on poor internet connections — use your real background if it’s clean and professional.
